AMD A10-7300 in Toshiba laptop overheating?

Hello,

I recently got a new laptop with the following specs:

AMD A10-7300 (1.9/3.2 4 MB L2 Cache)
Win 8.1
AMD R6 Integrated graphics

This laptop is brand new and I'm concerned the CPU runs too hot. General web browsing the CPU temp is around 55 degrees with a DL in the background. Thermal margins of anywhere between 10-18 degrees are given in overdrive.

When I was playing a relatively new game (Omerta) the Cpu temp went up to 69 according to core temp with as low as 2 degrees of thermal margin according to overdrive.

Is this CPU running way too hot? And if so, is it just a lemon or does the laptop have serious design flaws indicating I should return this beast?

Note: I also ran temp with Speccy (said CPU was 105 C lol) and Speedfan (agreed with coretemp)

According to the following website, the max temperature for that APU is 102c.

I would say for now that any programs that measures CPU temps will likely give you the wrong results unless it has been update to recognize the new AMD APUs. Therefore, you should read through any update notes provided by the developer of the temperature measurement program.

69c is not very hot at all. However, that assumes it is the correct measurement.

Yeah the laptop is still quite cool with the fan working, but barely audible. The air being pushed out is warm, but certainly not hot. I was just worried because my desktop browses the web at like 36 degrees C and I couldn't believe how much hotter this laptop was. Though obviously venting/air space is vastly more plentiful in my desktop.

I also have a Toshiba AMD A10-7300 with Radeon R6. I've owned it since June 2014. Was quite pleased upon purchase but gradually over time significant problems mounted, always related in some capacity to the video card drivers.

Here are some of the issues I encountered:

-Updating the drivers for the R6 would cause a system freeze upon starting up (i.e. freezing as soon as you log in and Windows loads). The only fix for this was to apparently to not update the drivers.
-Not updating the drivers not surprisingly caused other problems. I started getting consistent blue screens of death, (atikmdag.sys). Pretty much every solution to this revolved around updated drivers, which of course, caused my laptop to become unusable upon logging in.
-So for a while, I just had to live with random blue screens of death with seemingly no solution. For what it's worth, the atikmdag.sys crashes were almost exclusively caused by Flash, most commonly while watching something on YouTube.
-The Toshiba update utility eventually pointed to updated drivers. These worked and resolved all issues relating to blue screens. By this point in time, the more current drivers for the R6 could also safely be installed.
-Recently, the laptop did an auto-shutdown. This was quite remarkable as I don't do anything stressful on the laptop (browsing, office, e-mail, very light gaming (e.g. hearthstone on low settings lol)). I did not clue in to it being a heat issue and just chalked it up to being another driver issue. However within a few weeks, a more serious issue arose where my screen started glitching (green dots) and I realized I had a heat issue.
-Since then I've installed a heat monitor and it's remarkable how hot the laptop gets under minimal stress. I don't have anything blocking air vents, I use a flat surface, I opened it up to check for dust (no dust issues), the fan is working fine, the heat exchanger is fine, etc.
-In any event, the laptop is irreversibly damaged and I only use it for the most minimal of tasks now.
