I need the most powerful laptop that you can get for around £2000 to £3000, any brand, and looks, just raw power is what i need.

Thanks,
Harry

i could do with it having the best graphics and processing power for the money too, so a gaming rig will be acceptable too, whichever is the best for £2000-£3000

MSI gt70 dominator pro

i7 4800/4910 processor, gtx 880m 8gb gpu, 24/32gb ram, 128/256/378gb ssd in raid 0, 1tb hhd, bluray burner

Asus g750

i7 4700 processor, gtx 880m 4gb, 24/32gb ram, 256/512gb ssd raid 0, 1tb hhd, bluray reader/burner

Alienware 18

4700/4800, 16/24gb ram, gtx 870m/880m sli, 256gb ssd, 1tb hhd, dvd burner

MSI best bang for buck, asus best quality and just a smidge more than msi (winner), and alienware just a beast but will max any budget you throw at it 16lbs and a pure desktop replacement

Yup, as for high dollar gaming laptops, I don't think theres a single person that could argue with those above facts. Biggest battle is around the $1400-1800 usd department. In which MSI gives more performance in given price range. Anything above $2000 usd is all equal and that's where the laptop quality and everything come into play.

In which why I say Asus is winner, Alien ware is exceptional, but sli graphics uses more power and doesn't always work, and more often not even needed. Plus 17lbs, that's huge. MSI is great, but ASUS just a bit better. Asus, it takes a while until you get your 880m, $2200 price point, but once your they're its just a overall great quality beast capable of ground pounding out some ultra graphics.
