is my r9 280x getting enough power

hey guys recently i bough an r9 280x and theres two 8 pin gpu slots to connect them to oyur psu i didnt have the cable so i just used the 8 pin to 4 pin molex adapters now the thing is the 8 pins have two molex 4 pin connectors on them and each 8 pin adapter which then has 2 molex 4 pins on the end i only hooked up one molex on each of the 8 pins will this give them enough power okay thanks

EVGA 750W PSU should have at least 4x 6+2/8pin PCIE power connectors. Use those.

I don't know for sure, but there is likely a very good reason why it needs 2x molex's. To power it correctly & to meet the current safety standards.

If your PSU doesn't have the required PCI-E 8pin connectors, i'd suspect either it's not very good quality, old, or not powerful enough.

What make/model is the PSU ?

its aa very good evga 750 watt gold standard its top dollar i just wanna know if i should buy the right adapters as a must
