I'm doing my first build ever right now and am stymied by something.

I have the Corsair 760T case and it has a "Pilot Peg" for the center of the motherboard. It goes through the middle hole. I have nothing to my knowledge to go under or over this peg. Is it supposed to just be there, idle?

Here is a review that mentions the pilot peg and has a couple of photos (1 of the peg and another of the motherboard installed in the case), but I certainly need some confirmation that I can proceed with tightening down 8 motherboard screws and leaving this 9th hole alone now (with the peg sticking up through the hole).

Is this okay???

Hi

I would not worry about a plastic peg instead of a brass pillar, provided it goes through a hole in the motherboard and is the correct length

You can get plastic pegs to use if there is a hole in the motherboard but no hole to screw a pillar into
