Cable to Modem to TL-SF1005D switch> switch to desktop & switch to router.
but I am not getting a wireless signal..

Please help!
Thank you

Hi

Is this a new system which has never worked ?
or a system which has stopped working ?

Normally you connect devices in following order
Broadband or cable modem -- router /wireless access point -- (switch optional) -- your PC

If router /wireless access point has built in switch or not you can add extra switches if necessary
You need to loginto router (wireless access point) via a network cable
Via any internet browser
Router I/p address will be something like 192.168.1.1
See documentation

See if wireless is enabled
, what is SSID setting?
(often preset to make of router or name of ISP)
What security setting and password for wireless connection?

Once you have these details and wireless turned on you can try to connect by wireless

If it suddenly stopped working power cycling router (wireless access point) often works

I have never used this connection. I just bought the switch because my modem only has 1 Ethernet port and I need my internet to connect directly into desktop CPU for work (VPN connection).
