Hello, I have this problem with my new PC. My FPS drops from 65-70 to 15-20 for few seconds and then back to normal. This his happening every minute or so. I have tried pretty much everything and nothing helps.

Specs:

CPU: AMD FX 8350
GPU: gtx 760 2gb
Motherboard: ASUSTeK Computer INC. M5A78L-M/USB3 (AM3R2)
RAM: 16.0GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 800MHz
OS: Windows 8.1 64 bit

Your motherboard is pretty low end. Check to make sure your CPU is operating at the same frequency all the time and not down-clocking.

Also, what settings are you playing at? Does this still happen at lower settings? The gtx760 will not max BF4. Try a mix of medium and high settings and see if the FPS drops still happen.

No i think his motherboard is the bottleneck the M%A78L (I'm pretty sure thats what he said he had) has a 760G chipset which kinda sucks. I had the same issue with it it's a HUGE bottleneck. The 8350 will be happiest paired witha 990fx chipset but I think a 970 should do also 800MHz on ram is kinda low 1600+ is what you need for gaming

It is actually 1600 ram. Most programs only read the single rate speed, instead of the proper dual rate speed. Definitely would look at temps on both CPU and GPU, though.
