Cannot activate wireless adapter any change to its properties activates a infinite loop.

Hello forum.
Im having the folowing problem: i have a edimax EW-7711UAn wireless adapter that when plugged to my destktop it disables me from activating the wireless adapter.it shows itself on the device manager but when i go to the network and share menu it doesnt show up or sometimes if it does it stays grey even when i tell him to activate and this only happens when i activate the radio option on.if the radio option is off i can change its properties all shows up ok.this problem only persists on that computer alone.i have searched alot of places and still havent found a fix for that.uninstalled the drivers and motherboard ones and reinstalled them in safe mod with the drivers from edimax and still nothing.i would apreciate the help and aid.best regards;Mario Nelson

Might run a Malware check (Malwarebytes has a good free version), and a virus check. Next, check that you have the latest BIOS, then check for the latest mobo drivers, in particular the chipset drivers

thank you for such a quick answer.But it has not aid sadly.ive done that before.removed anti virus tried...reinstalled it and with no sucess.
is there any information you want in particular to give you more specific details?ive tried the wlan auto config in services and its good...running and automatic

Not remove, run it and check to see if malware or virus is interfering with internet connection

done.still persists. i don't know if it helps finding the cause but has i said before for some reason when i plug in the device and go to the adapter properties most of the times it doesn't show up in network and share settings,And when it does it does not make a change when i try to activate the adapter when asked to.and for some other reason if i go to the device property option and its advanced settings if i turn the radio on and try to aply the change the computer will enter a infinite loop....but if i unplug the device the change will be made.and if radio settings is off it can make all changes with sucess just not the radio on,if done that it will cause the infinite loop.
ps: is it normal that the anti virus you recommended has only the option to move to quarantine option and no delete any virus.
