Neither, Newegg has 290s for 320 new all over, or for 400 you can get a 290 with a 250gb Samsung 840 EVO SSD. With all of the mining going on a used card is not worth it, unless you know the person well. One good card is so much better than two mediocre cards. Xfire has problems, more heat and more power draw. If games don't support Xfire you're screwed.

If you crank the fans up, any card will sound loud. I know with my 680 it does that lol!
