Hi there.

I'm looking to get a big monitor upgrade as I'm still using a year's old LCD 22" Samsung syncmaster 1050p monitor. The graphics card I'm using is in the title of course, the 7970.

The XFX R7970 has:
DVI port (digital)
DVI port (analog, VGA adapter only)
HDMI port
2 x mini-dp ports

I'm looking to just get two 24" 1080p monitors and a dual monitor stand for it to look great on my desk. I was wondering as I'm a pretty big gamer too, and I know it may sound stupid but wouldn't games generally look awful in dual monitor? As it will centre the screen between the monitors? For example, I currently play dayz at the moment and in this, 3rd person and 1st person is centre screened, won't the line between the two displays act as a gap and generally just look bad?

If this isn't the case, how bad would this drop my frame rates? Would it be drastically? Also will it sore the tempo up too? If it is the case, would it be worth going to triple monitor display obviously this dropping the frames even more but would it still be.. 'playable'?

All 2 (or 3) monitors all will be the same monitors. What would frame rates be like gaming with triple displays in a game such as battlefield 4 with this card? If my other specs are important to this them they're as follows:

AMD Fx 8320 (Hyper212 EVO AM)
AsRock 990fx Extreme 3 mobo
1TB Western Digital Caviar Black
8GB (4 x 2GB) G.skill 2133MHz ram

Cooling I spent a bit on and bought the coolermaster hyper 212 EVO and 4 corsair high airflow quiet edition fans. Plus an older fan on the bottom of the case as an intake. (These have all been installed so I'm not quite as much worried on temperatures)

Any help would be really appreciated!
