Howdy.

So... A few days ago, my brother was playing a slightly graphically intense game, PAYDAY 2, but in the middle of a game, the screen went black. I think the entire computer crashed as well, because we couldn't hear any sound.

Anyways, we rebooted the computer but the monitor didn't show any video in DVI, HDMI, or VGA. Since we can't see the login screen, there's no way to actually use the computer. My sister tells me that the video card has crashed but none of us know how to fix it.

I'll take any suggestions... Kind of a newbie when it comes to computer hardware.

Solution
I have known low end HP's to have this issue, did you by chance get it at Costco?

If the onboard video is gone the whole system is toast.

It's a HP computer... I had someone come over to check it today.

Is it possible for a video card to stop working because of massive amounts of dust?

Sorry for the ridiculously late response, but it's all fixed now.

As with my old Xbox, a little dust just got in the way. Guess I need to clean my PC a bit more often Thanks for your help anyways though!.
