HI, here are my concerns for my Sapphire Vapor-x R9 290 TRI-OC. I have a thermaltake SMART m750w modular power supply (750w, obviously) powering my GPU. my power supply has x2 8pins PCIe slots with x2 PCIe cables to go with. each cables has x2 8pins ends.

I fear my GPU is not receiving enough power. my card needs 2x 8pins connected to work (x2 150w written on box), so i connected ONE cable from my power supply (wich has 2 end, so no slots are unfilled) to my GPU, and I was able to game a lot with it, but I often see weird lines on my monitor, and youtube sometimes crash my whole PC down.

i'm not good with the wattage and stuff so I need help, ask if you need more info.

More about : 290 power

That power supply is ok.

Youtube crashes a lot with graphics acceleration, turn it off.

Weird lines could be overheating. Download MSI afterburner and check temps, make a more aggressive fan profile if temps a bit high.

Copy this one, should help.
