So far what I have is..

AMD FX 6350 CPU
4gb ddr3 kingston 1600mhz RAM ( I will buy another 4gb later)
ASUS M5A97 Motherboard
and EVGA GTX 750 Superclocked Video Card

Im All comes out to about 392$ which is perfect for my budget.. just curious, will those 4 items work well together? And will I be able to run most games decently? I dont play anything crazy. Already have a hard drive and power supply.. Those are the only 4 items I really need. If anyone can suggest a better video card for the 120$ range, that would help as well. But please nothing more than that. I know if I spend more, I can get something better.

Hey, I wasn't sure on a few things, but I thought I'd show you this build just to have another option anyways. :)

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant

CPU: Intel Pentium G3258 3.2GHz Dual-Core Processor ($74.99 @ Amazon)
Motherboard: ASRock Z97 PRO4 ATX LGA1150 Motherboard ($99.99 @ Newegg)
Memory: Kingston Blu Red Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory ($71.88 @ NCIX US)

From the parts you are replacing, it looks like an upgrade but you did't specify your PSU. If it is not a good quality one, the 750ti is a better option for now as it doesn't need power connectors to your PSU and also has a very low peak wattage.

It also does quite well with gaming but is not as good as the 7870, but it's also cheaper and may be the better option depending on the PSU.

Here are some benchmarks, the 750ti is close to the GTX 660 and the 7870 is nearly the same as the r9 270x.

I wasn't sure when you'd be building either or if overclocking was an interesting idea to you. The G3258 is an new overclockable budget CPU that is being released on July 1st. Overclocking on 1150 board is very easy and even with a mild overclock to 4.0ghz you can see some nice increase in performance.

(It can be as good as some i3's actually)

The nice thing is, that you have the option to get the i5-4670k later and overclock it as well if you want.

I put in 8gb of ram only because I could fit it in the budget. If you are only going to get 4gb of ram, make sure you buy the same model RAM or there could be complications.

If none of this interests you, RazerZ's builds are good. I would go for the FX6300 build because of that good UD3P board as it's slightly better/cheaper than the M5A97 and can overclock unlike the Intel build. :)

All good points. Nice low powered system as well.

@OP I didn't notice you already had a PSU, do you know which one it is?

Also since you already have the PSU, I'm going to assume you have the case. If it is a prebuilt pc (dell, hp, toshiba, lenovo, etc.) then the only motherboard that can fit in your case will be a smaller sized Micro ATX motherboard.
