i5 OC with dynamic Voltage for power conservation

Hello there!

I have a i5 4670k running at 4.2GHz with a voltage of 1.215v on a ASRock Z87 Killer.
The thing Is that I like the power saving features of the i5 (the cool 800Mhz at 0.7v), but when I run Intel burn Test I can see the voltage spiking to 1.301v, that's seems to be the only time that happens.

Should I be worried? Is it best just leave it at Override at a constant 1,215v?
Or is it best to have it cool most of the downtime and let it spike 1.301v?

My GPU is a GTX 570 so I don't know I should even OC the CPU at this moment, the only games that really seem to push the CPU are Battlefield 4 and Wildstar (and the last one in going the way of the recycle bin, so very poorly optimized).

Thank you for the help in advance!

I wouldn't be concerned with spikes to 1.3 v. Core temp of 70*C. is also fine.

With my voltage on Override it seems to be able to hold on at 1.215v, even with Intel burn Test.
So it's no problem if I set it to Adaptive and let it sometimes hit a spike of 1.3v?
From my Hardware Monitor readings I had, today, a voltage spike of 1.305v and 70c.
It is ok or it would be safer to have if locked at 1.215v?

Thank you for all the answers so far.

That is high. For normal use, 1.2 Volts at 4.0 GHz or less is good.
