Nvidia Quadro K2000 - how does it determine which one is monitor 1, 2, or 3?

I am setting up a system for church use that requires three monitor outputs. We are using an Nvidia Quadro K2000. My problem right now is this - how does the driver decide which output port is number 1, 2, or 3? It seems arbitrarily decided. I would plug in three monitors, using various combinations of DVI-VGA, DisplayPort-VGA and DisplayPort-DVI adapters. It seems the driver will switch around the monitor assignments for each output port when I switch the displays around, which is annoying, because the software we're running displays different things on different monitors, depending on the monitor number.

Anyways, if anyone knows how to tell the driver/hardware to stick to one specific numbering scheme, that would be great. Thanks.

Gam3r01, that's what I was doing, but my problem is, I can set which monitor is which in terms of orientation, but the actual number is assigned by something I cannot control. The oddest thing is, the software I'm using is determing primary/secondary/tertiary monitor based on something else unrelated to the number assigned in the driver. Not sure if that's making sense...
