I just bought an Asus M5A97 r2.0 mobo with an FX 8350 black edition cpu, Sapphire R9 270x gpu, 1 x 8 gb stick of 1600 ddr3, running on a coolermaster 500w psu. Everything hooked up easy enough, when i powered on all the fans and lights and hdd power up, but no post. I have tried everything, switched gpu slots, switched RAM, checked BIOS version, the RAM isnt listed on the qvl but its Avant 1600 ddr3 so it should work fine. I have no speaker tho so beeps are no good to me lol. I tried plugging the 4 pi. Connector into the 8 pin slot by the cpu and afterwards nothing powers on at all. Before that everything powered on, standby light came on green and all. Idk what to do anymore its pretty frustrating. Thanks in advance for any help
