I helped build my friends PC. We stuck a 760 in it,it's a fantastic card for high-midrange gaming.

Anyways the 770 is a huge step up from the 660 or 760, the 770 had a 256 bit memory bus over a 192 bit on the 660 , it also has a faster memory frequency and over 500 more cuda cores. The 770 is definitely worth the extra money but if your monitor only outputs 60 fps then you won't even see the difference.

The 660 can play bf4 on ultra at about 45 fps. Whereas the 770 can hit a better 56 fps, but who plays games on ultra?

Also if you plan on recording gameplay then I would get the 770. But really if you're more of a casual gamer get the 660. Plus if it's you're first pc build it's best you learn the basics.

Good luck

The 770 is ABSOLUTELY worth the upgrade over the 660. You can see the specs for yourself, but if it were my money between the two 770 110%. Congrats friend

Thank you for such a great detailed and positive answer, unlike a bunch of others who were advising me to get an AMD card, which I loathe. Great help. Your help is priceless. Also, yes this is my very first build.

Also one more question. How do you know how many frames I'll get? I could really use some knowledge.
