Does the vapor-x r9 270x requires 30A on a 12v rail ? my psu is 12v1-15a and 12v2-14a
That is a little low for a PSU, how many watts and does it have the required amount of PCIe connectors?
It is 500 watt thermaltake tr2-pp ... My last card was xfx 5850 ! I am using this psu for almost 4 years ! never faced any single problem ! now i dont have budget for a new psu ! my other components are phenom 2 x4 955, msi 890 gxm, 6gb twinmos 1333mhz ram , 1 tb samsung hdd and It has one six pin pci connector
Odd RAM setup, but go for a GTX 750 Ti and a new PSU. That doesn't support a 270x, the 270x needs 2 PCIe connectors.
I didnt! accept this kind of opinion for you! you are not even an an expert! 1st 750ti is only 60tdp card it can run any with psu! medium ! quality and you are using corsair cx series do you know cx series are made with cheapest capacitiors ! only rm ,cs, tx series are good quality psu! why are u running 2x 270x! why not r9 280x or 290 :/ i think your pc is more odd ! no offence
Calm down, there. I have 2 270x's because my PC was originally a more budget-oriented PC, and when I got the money, I upgraded it. The 270x's in crossfire perform better than a 780 Ti. That is a different story. My PC setup is used my thousands of others. If you think you are an expert at this, then you can handle it. If you do not think I am reliable, then you don't have to take my advice. I never said the 750 Ti couldn't be on that PSU. I said the 270X probably couldn't. The PSU has only
ONE PCIe 6-pin power connector, the R9 270x takes
TWO. I should know because I have 2 of them.
