Hi I have a Win 7 machine, 32-bit Ultimate.

I have an Epson Action Laser 1000 Printer. I do not have parallel inputs on my computer, so I purchased an adapter cable... A "Sewell" USB to Parallel Cable.
I plugged it in turned it on and Windows installed an IEEE 1284.4 type driver.
This printer can emulate an HP IIP Printer, so I installed the driver.
So now I have an IEEE 1284 installed along with an HP IIP printer driver.
But the printer doesn't work.
How do I get the system to use the HP driver I installed instead of the IEEE 1284 that windows installed???
OR do I have this all wrong?
