Will soon be my first build, and I wouldn't want to go overboard yet since I'm still new at building rigs, that's why I thought of making a budget gaming pc instead.

When to build: I still have no idea when.

PC use from top to low priority: Gaming, Internet and surfing, 2d drafting using AutoCad, word processing.
Games would most likely be Sims, LoL, Skyrim, and Warcraft 3 (xD) and other non graphics intensive games

Processor: AMD A8-6600k (3.9 ghz 4MB) (FM2)
Mother: Gigabyte GA F2A88XM-HD3 (Micro ATX)
GPU: Can't pick between Sapphire R7 250 1GB DDR5 and Asus HD 7770 1GB DDR5
Memory: 4gb Corsair Vengeance (1x4)
Internal hard drive: 500 GB WD Blue
PSU: Corsair V5450 450 Watts
Case: I would just get some cheap ATX/ Micro ATX cases.

Would it do? Most of the games I play are not that intensive (Or so I think) Any suggestions on changing some components would be helpful. (But I'm still staying within the $400+ budget.) :D

If you're staying with 4GB of RAM, get a 2x2 kit. Your best run is a 8GB @1866mhz for the memory. APUs love fast memory.

As for the GPU, go for the R7 250.

And everything else looks good.

There is no point getting an APU if you are getting a discrete GPU. This build is much better. http://pcpartpicker.com/p/wB2yqs
It has 1TB HDD, better CPU, better graphics

Thanks! I will improve the RAM to 8GB soon after I made the rig.

Where are you from? I know the VS450 isn't available in north america. An antec VP450 or 550 would be better than it if you have them available.

Your motherboard is fm2+ so this gives you some kind of upgrade path later on which is good.

For the GPU, the 7770 I would say. What's the price difference though?

I agree with Lightbulbie that the 1866mhz would be better. Temporarily though, if you wanted to get 1x4gb of 1866mhz, then in a month or 2 get a 2nd stick of the SAME model, that would be the better choice I think.

Otherwise it looks good. :)

I'm from PH! And the VS450 is still available here. :)  I'll try to look up on VP450 on the nearest PC store to see.
I am planning to upgrade later on, so yeah. I guess I made a sound decision on picking the components! On the GPU, I'll try to look for ratings and review for the two. Thanks! :D

For some reason I thought you had chosen the x4 750k lol (must have been from Alpha's build)

Aspire is correct in saying you should either get rid of the GPU and get a better APU or get rid of the APU for an athlon CPU.

What site are you using for this? I could try to find you some better parts.

I actually tried to choose between x4 750k and A8-6600k but for some reason, I couldn't find a store that sells x4 750k (But I'm still not sure because I haven't actually visited the store yet, perhaps they haven't updated their website's pricelist)

I'll try look up on aspire's suggestion! I'm still new to this so I pretty much do not know a lot yet.
And for the site, http://pcx.com.ph/pcx-pricelist and also PCWorx's website. Only the two of this top distributors has a complete list. (Php is the current currency in there) and 400 USD is pretty much 20, 000 Php if I'm not mistaken.
