I recently noticed I couldn't connect to my Seagate Goflex Free Agent STAM1000200. When I checked the base it had no lights on it. I had the ac adapter tested and was told it is fine but the base wasn't working. Is there anyway to fix this? They don't make replacements anymore and the only one I can find is an expensive import on eBay. I can buy the whole hard drive again for £60 on Amazon but don't really want to spend more money on what was already a disappointing purchase. Any ideas please?
