How to overclock..

My confis are:
AMD FX 4300 Processor
Gigabyte GA-78LMT-USB3 MOBO
Transcend 4Gb DDR3 1333Mhz Ram
SApphire ATi Radeon R7 240 1GB DDR5 Graphics Card
550W PSU...so please let me know how to overclock? And what are the necessary things i have to watch out?

Go in to BIOS and adjust the frequency multiplier, stress test, repeat all previous actions until crash, increase voltage (VCore), repeat all previous actions until one of the following:

High temperatures (below 80 is usually considered safe)
High Voltages (Around 1.5)
You are satisfied

You shouldn't need to overclock the CPU. The FX-4300 won't be bottlenecking an R7 240 anyway, so if you have performance issues, it's almost certainly the R7 240. Unless we're talking about Minecraft or something that only uses 1 core with very little graphical activity.
