File History Problem Turn off

i turned on file history on a drive which had 35gb free space but now i turned it off ,but it does not
free my space again . how to get my free space again ? (i turned file history off and restarted)

Find the drive in your file explorer (picture of a file folder) and navigate to the drive in question. click on the drive and you should see a filehistory file that you can simply delete to regain your space used by the File history.
