Hello guys. First of all i would like to state that i know nothing about installing pc parts . So i ve seen many guide from cant understand something. My motherboard is H67-MA-USB-B3 . I will get the xonar dx pcie . So how do i install it ? Yeah i open the case and install it in the motherboard http://www.gigabyte.com.gr/products/upload/products/2317/85a8_6.jpg blue port(not the ram one lol). So whats next ? Also in the back of my case there are the audio and video ports from the motherboard. What do i have to do to replace them with my soundcard's ports ?

Hey again micky . Sooo i understood everything expect this: What are those cables that he connects to the soundcard ports ? By the way i decided to go with the xonar instead of the external soundcard you suggested me cause i read its superior in terms of quality, and i had some extra $ so why not.

Got it. But will i have to keep the side of the pc open ,so i can connect the headphones directly to the soundcard?

the cables he hooked up to the card were the front panel hd audio connector so you can plug your headphones into the front panel direct to the card , the other cable is a molex floppy connector i am assuming this is to power the card , so with the front panel hd audio plugged in you can close your case and plug into the front panel audio socket

Got it. So this floppy cable connects the PSU with the audio card? Should my computer already have one these?
