New built PC problems, help a poor soul out! :(

Hello there! I built a new PC not so long ago, but I just can't make it work. Let's be more specific: I'm using a Windows 8 Pro Built 9200 OS, it keeps restarting whenever I try to run something from the desktop or trying to install something. My motherboard had some bent cpu pins and I tought that was the source of the random restarts, but it's all fixed now. Still the same issue. I have a completely new PC now, I just kept the hdd and the psu (note: now I'm using an ssd for the OS). Could it be a hdd error or it's an OS rooted problem?

Please help me out, I'm very confused! :C

I built it yesterday, when the other parts arrived. I wiped my HDD and installed the OS on the SSD. Previously it did the same thing, because of the Motherbard's bent pins. What is more, before I got the board back, it was tested for 2 days in a row without any sign of errors.

Quick update: today my friend will come over to install a new OS. It will be a Windows 7 Pro 64-bit one (it worked last time) and I'll disconnect my HDD, so only the new hardwares will be working this time. Also, I found something about the restarts, something like turning off the 'Automatic restart at system failure' option in the Control Panel. Risky, but it's worth a try. Updates soon!

Okay, now I'm REALLY confused. I installed a Win7 and it worked for a while, I mean I finally could install and run programs. But when I tried to run Chrome, freez, BSOD and MACHINE_CHECK_EXEPTION. Now I can't even log in my profile, I could just use the reduced mode. Any ideas? :S
