Hi, I wonder if anyone can help. Home machine's Mbd is Z68XP-UD3P. I upgraded it for F7 to U1G which is apparently a beta UEFI from Gigabyte. I only found out afterward. I read somewhere that with this BIOS, MBd memory capacity increases from 16gb to 32gb. I am a gamer but want to improve my career, I want to learn more about VM. I look after 9 servers in work using VM but under supervision. Anyway, to cut a long story short, one of the problem that I cannot make sense is that my home machine seems to work fine. But then every now and then when I reboot the machine, it lost its boot sequence. Going into the UEFI, it's booting to another drive. Redone it correctly and then this morning, it happens again. Is there something wrong with the motherboard or is it due to this UEFI being beta. I say this because once it lost its boot sequence, pressing the reset button will result in the machine booting up three times before I can press the Del key to get in the UEFI. Please can anyone help? I can't take this anymore. I have posted a few more posts about different problems, all since I upgraded to UEFI. I am seriously considering getting a loan from the bank and get myself a new motherboard, cpu and SSD. My current cpu is i5-2500k 3.3ghz, good cpu but no decent mbd for it. Your help will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you very much for your quick response. I thought about that as well. But in the past, if the cmos battery has gone, all settings would be lost in bios. However, with this motherboard + UEFI, all my settings are there except that the boot sequence is changed. For instance, I disabled serial port, disabled onboard graphics. These would be enabled by default. Any idea? I have some experience with the old style BIOS, but then I haven't followed the market for a few years. This UEFI is totally new to me.
