I recently purchased two EVGA superclocked gtx 770's from Newegg. When I tried setting up 2-way sli, I used the flexible band that came with my ASUS x79 deluxe Mobo, I put one card in slot one and the other in slot three. connected everything, booted, and went straight to NVIDIA control panel to enable SLI, but the "surround configuration" won't let me do anything. My system recognizes both cards but will not let me SLI. So I started troubleshooting, eventually tried using a 3-way sli bridge that also came with mobo. So now I have the cards in slot one and two and used the bridge to connect them. That worked. Didn't want to do that. Ordered an EVGA pro 2-way SLI bridge, thinking it could've been a bad stock 2-way band. Still isn't working. So, why is the 3-way bridge letting me enable SLI, but the 2-way connectors are not? Help please?
