Before you read this I would like to inform you that I have been researching fairly new forum posts on this website regarding a few questions that follow; I've basically taken that info of what I've gained and implemented with my post that sums up one main question. :)

Hi there, I am looking to upgrade my gtx560ti 1gb windforce and I would like to know which of the three gpu's you reccomend I buy:
First one:
Asus nVidia Geforce GTX770 DirectCU II Graphics Card (GTX770-DC2OC-2GD5)

http://www.takealot.com/computers/asus-nvidia-geforce-g...

Second:
Gigabyte nVidia GeForce GTX770 OC - 2048MB GDDR5

http://www.takealot.com/computers/gigabyte-nvidia-gefor...

Third:
[4GB] MSI Gaming Edition Twin Frozr IV N770 TF 4GD5/OC GeForce GTX 770 4GB 256-bit GDDR5 OVERCLOCKED Edition Graphics Card

http://www.evetech.co.za/PC-Hardware/msi-gaming-edition...

I have already taken into consideration that the asus gpu is an older gpu processor (GK 104) while I assume the two other gpu's I mentioned in the 2nd and 3rd choice are both newer. Please notify me if i'm wrong.

I only game in 1080x1920, 1 screen but I read in previous posts (links are given) that the msi's 4gig memory would last in the long run and would it run more smoothly in BF4 than 2gigs?

I don't plan to overclock, unless it's config is automatically adjusted (msi gpu has a higher base clock than the asus gpu). The asus gpu does not support direct x12 while I'm unsure about the other two gpu's of my choice. If anyone could back me up there, that would be great!

I orginally planned on just buying the new i7 4970 along with the msi z97 motherboard without a new gpu as my current cpu is i7-870, 2.93 ghz and clocks (as my the intel monitor displayed)at times up to 3.30 ghz. I am unsure as which plays more of an important role in games such as skyrim and bf4 ect. But I believe my gpu is more outdated than my cpu and motherboard is the asus maximus gene III. I recently bought 2x 8gigs cosair 2133Mhz so that should be fine. I have WD black ssd hybrid and a fulltower colloseus bitfenix chassis so space shouldn't be a problem. Although I have a Huntkey green power 550watts which in case need to buy a new PSU to do the job that isn't too expensive. If anyone could suggest any, again that would be great!

I hope this information helps and I hope to have a couple responses! :D

Thanks again,
Ungoliant

All 770s are GK 104, 4 GB will help you in SLI. If you won't OC get the Xenon 1230v3 or don't upgrade. GPU plays more role in games. You do NOT need 16 GB ram.

My current motherboard has a program that comes with it called EPU-6 Engine and there are various modes being max power saver, medium, high performance and finally turbo. Is this known as overclocking when you turn it up to high performance?

I don't think so, though it may increase the power limits. You should check with you MB manufacturer.
