I'm pretty new to building computers, so I thought I would ask you guys for some help on building me a computer? I'm all set and ready to build my computer, and I want your guys help on the parts I should buy.
Approximate Purchase Date: e.g.: this week
Budget Range: $2500 after rebates/tax
System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming, video editing are the main reasons
Are you buying a monitor: No
Parts to Upgrade: Everything
Do you need to buy OS: No
Preferred Website(s) for Parts: Anywhere in the US
Location: Boston, Massachusetts, USA
Parts Preferences: No AMD
Overclocking: Yes, extreme overclocking on the CPU
SLI or Crossfire: if necessary
Your Monitor Resolution: 2560x1440
Additional Comments: Im going to be doing heavy video editing, so I need a lot of storage space to hold videos/effects/music and stuff. I'm also going to be gaming at 1440p, so I need a computer that can run Battlefield, DayZ, and basically any game @ Max settings.
And Most Importantly, Why Are You Upgrading: Need a new computer.
