1600 vs 1333mhz upgrade

I already have 4 gb of 1333mhz RAM and I would like to upgrade to 8 gb.
4gb sticks of 1333 and 1600 mhz RAM are the same price here. (£30)
Is it worth buying 8 gb of 1600mhz RAM, or just another 4 gb of 1333

whats your full system specs? also if u already got 4gbs of 1333 id get the same ram in another 4 gig flavour

The performance difference in most games and software between 1333 and 1600 is only 1-2% so upgrading is not really worth it unless you really do not mind the extra $40-50.

I f going to a newer mobo, might get 1600 now and can run them at 1333 till you get the new mobo

if you were to get a new motherboard id get a socket am3+ such as a 990fx board
