I want to learn how to develop websites for educating children - part of a masters degree I will be taking. In two years I would like to set up a moodle site (based in Linux) and use cartoons, videos, audio on it. Somewhere along the line I need to learn how to use Mac stuff (but don't tell anyone!). I prefer to use windows apps. Is it possible/realistic to install multiple VM's on a computer so that I can accomplish windows, linux and Mac stuff on the same computer? If so, is a hefty quad or six core with lots of memory the answer or is a dual cpu computer going to be more useful? Or will I be better off with multiple computers? After the moodle site is set up I would like to connect it to a network in a school to use it.
