Installing GPU causes black screen. Exhausted all options

So I just purchased and installed a new mobo, and CPU. My issue is I'm getting a black screen whenever I try to plug in my GPU. I'll lay out everything I've done so far to troubleshoot:

Let me preface with this:
The CPU, GPU RAM, and Power Supply, guaranteed work

First off I've fresh installed windows. Updated the drviers from the mobo disk. I can boot just fine to the integrated graphics card. I can boot the box when the GPU is inserted if I make the integrated GPU the boot priority. From there I've installed and updated all drivers for the Nvidia GPU. Tried to switch the boot priority to PCI and still a black screen.

I've checked in the bios to see if the mobo is recognizing the GPU and it is. It clearly stats there's a Nvidia GPU in the PCI slot.

I'm using the correct PCI slot 3.0x16 (I've also tested in the 2.0 slot)

The GPU's fans also spin when it's inserted.

I have a 2 wire component speaker (+/-) that I've been trying to test the beeps with, but the 7 prong JFP2 is confusing and I can't get it to work.

I've updated the bios with the latest version and reset the CMOS prior to that.

I've tested DVI, VGA, and HDMI connections when using the GPU, none which work.

I've checked compatibility for all of the components. They are as follows:

CPU: Intel i7 4770K
GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 770
MOBO: MSI Z87 G43 Gaming
RAM: DDR3 4x2 1600
PSU: APEX Solytech ATX 800W SL-8850EPS

My only thought is perhaps the PSU isn't enough voltage? I know it has enough watts, I've double checked that. Any thoughts?

Edit: Few other things I've tried:

Disabling the default driver for the integrated graphics and restarting.

Probably the PSU. Even if it isn't the problem, you should replace it ASAP:

Tier five - Replace immediately. These units are NOT recommended for any system, no matter the purpose. Reference to higher tiered models for a better and potentially money-saving unit

Could you recommend one? I'm afraid my knowledge stop abruptly when it comes to PSUs

I suspect it's the PSU. I've never heard of it, and I doubt it is of high quality. But it could also be the wrong input connections that you are using. If you're using DVI, try the other DVI port. And also remember to set the input from the monitor itself. There should be a button allowing you to change the input

Any 550W+ PSU from XFX, Corsair (AX, TX, and HX series only) or Seasonic should do fine as long as it has the appropriate PCI-E power connectors.

Could you elaborate on that? I've never heard of anything like that, nor do I see any buttons.

I've used both GPUs in my original setup.
Since then I've swapped the motherboard and CPU then reinstalled windows. So I know the GPU and PSU have worked before.

Every monitor or TV allows you to change the input. You can change from DVI to HDMI and so on. There should be a button that allows you to do so

Looks like mine wasn't modular to begin with. Better to keep it constant so I don't screw anything up.

all hardware here if anyone wants to look. http://pcpartpicker.com/p/PHqvqs
