Hi.
I'm upgrading my PC .. i've chosen these components:
fx 6300 (already bought )
hd 6770 (already have)
cooler master 500w psu (already have) below :

http://www.coolermaster-usa.com/product.php?product_id=...

corsair vengeance 4gb @ 1600 mhz (not yet bought)

I'm yet unable to choose a mobo.. these specs are what i want :
am3+ socket [quite obvious ]
PCIE 3.0 .. for GPU upgrade headroom
At least 1600 mhz ram clock support
4 ram slots with 8gb each support ..toal 32 gb
USB 3.0 support
these are my confusions :
1) hd 6770 supports pcie 2.1 .. will it work on pcie 3.0.. ie; is PCIE forward compatible

2) the PSU above has 4+4 pin +12v CPU power connector... and the most mobos i came across have have 8 pin 12v cpu power connector .. will it work on these mobos
eg , i came across this mobo:

http://www.flipkart.com/gigabyte-ga-78lmt-usb3-motherbo...

3) additionally I've seen some guys writing That the above mobo supports 1600 mhz ram with bios update .. is it true i think I'd buy it..

Plzzzz guys clear ma confusions and suggest me a gud mobo in the 70 to 80 $ range if the above mobo is bad..
thanks in advance

That PSU is HORRIBLE . You should really replace it for the safety of your PC and your house

FYI, you cannot get PCIe 3 support with any motherboard with an FX processor, it isn't supported. It doesn't matter more than a couple of FPS lower anyway.

+1, only 360w and 18a on the 12v rail is pretty terrible for a "500w" power supply.

@IRONBATMAN
the psu has dual +12v rail.. 12v1 with 18 amps and 12v2 with 18 amps... so it has a total of 36 amps on the +12v rail...
@everyone ...
what about my other Qs... if the mobo has 1600 mhz ram support

The amperage doesn't combine.
