Will an AC router make a difference if none of my devices are AC?

None of my current devices are AC compatible... does that mean I better off just buying an N router??? Or will an AC router slightly improve the performance of my wireless network?

Some manufacturers want you to think that an AC router will help even if you don't have any Ac devices. In test, though, that does not seem to be the case. If you don't plan to upgrade your devices to AC anytime soon then I would just go with N.
