This is my first build ever, so please bare with me.

The part where I'm stumped is with the PSU and the motherboard. For the mobo I have no diea what I should use. For the PSU, I've read about people using 850 watts PSU but I went on some online power calculators and it had some higher numbers. Can anyone help me out on figuring out what component to buy? Also, should I buy a cpu cooler? The case I bought comes with 3 fans.

Good board and PSU, if you want to overclock then definitely get a CPU cooler (even if not the stock ones aren't that good anyways, spend the extra $25 for a better cooler)

A few other options (use the older chipset so a little cheaper)
