Hello all,
I am looking to build a gaming computer that I can transfer easily to college and back. This is why I decided to go mini-itx. I was looking at the coolermaster elite 130, and I do not need windows software or a CD drive. Please let me know of builds you guys think would be good.
Thank you

something like this is well rounded, and will be good for future upgrade. it has a very good psu. the gpu can push high-ultra in games. the i3 isnt as good as the i5 but is still strong, can be upgraded in the future to an i5 or i7. the i3 only holds back the higher end gpus, there will be no bottleneck on the 270.

Have a look at the Bitfenix Prodigy. I built a m-ITX in it. Wasn't too bad a build, unfortunately I didn't get to keep it. :)

Comes in different colors as well.. :)

I like that it has handles for carrying.

I could dig around and find the specs if you're interested, although by now it's been more than a year. SO newer components are bound to be better.

can't do much more in your pricerange. generally i don't like suggesting dual core cpus... but with mitx as your requirement this is really the only option. that motherboard will allow overclocking... and that pentium is unlocked. you'll want to overclock it to make this worth your while.

This is a tad over. I can go down to an Intel Core i3, or someone who knows AMD can configure an AMD machine.

I chose one stick of memory so you have a slot to upgrade the memory in. Personally I'd not recommend it, since sometimes a new stick doesn't play nice with the old stick.

If you have a little more money, you can get an SSD for faster boot.
