I have one system fan in my second build, but is it better to have 1 Exhaust Fan or 1 Intake Fan?
I plan to add another, but that'll be in a while.
Thanks,
Adam

Why are you only using one fan?
Anyway I would advise an intake fan if you only plan on using one.

Did you count the PSU fan?

It's an old build, I use it as a spare but I'm taking it to a holiday home so I want to improve it in a few fields.

Nope, it has a PSU fan and a CPU cooler, but 1 SYS fan

If the PSU is top mounted then this would actually work fairly nicely. Otherwise just as long as the system isn't too high end you're good :)

I still recommend the intake fan, that is the most important, it will create positive pressure that will help the hot air get out anyway.

also ensure the airflow is constant... all back to from or the other way.

Worst case open the case and do not put it in a cabinet with a closed door when it is running

Ok, thanks guys. I'd choose both of you as best answer but I had to flip a coin :p
Cheers for the help, I'll do an intake fan :3
