I'm going to be building a pc for the first time soon and have all my parts chosen except my power supply. I don't know what one to get. The power supply seems risky business, I don't want to choose a bad one and have it explode/die and kill other parts in the process.

Things I want from the power supply
Semi modular or modular
Will last me a while
Reliable
Not too expensive
Will provide enough power to my system while I'm gaming

This is the build I'm getting (includes a power supply I choose based on a lot of people have used it and it has good reviews)

Will this power supply be good enough for my system?

A Corsair CX600M would be adequate, but if you want something that is higher quality then I'd recommend an XFX 650W XXX Edition. Not that you need the wattage, but there doesn't seem to be a 550W version available.

Antec High Current Gamer 620W Semi-Modular ($59.99 after MIR @Newegg)

I live in the UK so I can't use Newegg and the limited items you can get sent to the UK from Newegg are very expensive after shipping and tax are added.

I've been reading some reviews on the xfx and they all seem to be good and the psu seems reliable. I'm going to get it over the corsair, thanks for you help
