installing a network driver into my device manager

I just did a restore with my dell with winsdows xp 2000 and I cant get on the net work that is already there and working because Im missing the driver in device manager for Network adaptors, can I download one from microsoft drivers or an identical working computer and install it on a flash drive then into my computer device manager ?

Just goto support.dell.com, enter the service tag printed on the label and download the network driver.

Hi I did that and it wont download for some reason???

I need to copy a net work adaptor drive in my device manager from a working computer then install the flash drive into a non working internet computer so I can get on the internet ? how can I do this the easy way ,
can the driver be downloaded from a driver site windows xp home edition with IE7 ,or can I clone the adaptor drive from my good working computer to the flash drive and how to do this I tried to drag and drop the driver to the desk top ,it wont go. need help

No, you need to download the actual driver install file from Dell.
Copy that to a USB stick
Install
