Computer won't boot (no fans, mobo led on) [solved]

Ah hi, a bit of a predicament. Recently gotten myself a nice gaming pc setup. One small problem though: the thing wont boot. So when i connect the pc to a power supply, the mobo leds come on, to show its receiving power. However, when I try to turn it on, some lights on the mobo flash, followed by absolutely nothing happening, no fans, no other lights, no noises. The mobo led to show power stays on though. Any thoughts?

Specs:
CPU: Intel core i5 4460
Motherboard: Gigabyte Z97x gaming-7
PSU: Cooler Master 600W 80PLUS Bronze Power Supply
Video card: MSI R9 270x hawk
RAM: Kingston 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 1600MHz Desktop memory

Help please!

So I just went to take off and put back on all the power connectors, and it works fine now and I think this was actually what I did wrong. Thanks for the help, was getting paranoid I'd killed the CPU.
