I just recently installed another GTX 770 for sli and whenever I try to play an online game with nvidia surround my pc restarts? I think it may be a psu problem.
My PC
CPU: i5 4670
Gpu: Galaxy GTX 770
Evga GTX 770 sli
Motherboard: asus z87pro
Ssd and hdd
Blu ray drive
750w psu 80plus bronze
16g ram
Running 7 led fans

Solution
Sometimes mixing ram from different manufactures can cause problem, so try taking out the Kingston ram and only run the crosshair ram then see how it goes.
Also Is anything in your system overclocked? Overclocking can sometimes cause systems to become unstable

i had this problem and it was related to ram, try to run memtest and see how it goes, and yes it might also be a psu problem.
Have you checked temps when playing games? maybe some components are overheating.

I've checked temps gpu 1 will run 50 - 60 Celsius gpu 2 will run 60 - 70 Celsius
It might be my ram as I'm currently running corsair vengeance with Kingston HyperX beast

Both gpus came factory overclocked but other than that nothing has been oc'd

Also just FYI I can play games fine on 1080p ultra setting just whenever I go to 5780 my pc restarts. I can use programs like photoshop and cryengine without problems and my system recognized and synced the speed of my dram

Il try taking out the Kingston and see what happens

Yes I went into nvidia control panel and activated sli. I'm now just running on one monitor and everything is fine I don't get it and I really hope it's not the psu I've just spent 400 bucks on a gpu!!

There is not much info about that PSU, but seeing as how it only costs $70 and is modular and 750w, I doubt it is good at all. It is probably among Ultra's low quality units. It also only makes 16a on each of the 4 12v rails. This is pathetic for a 750w unit. My 750w Antec makes 40a on each of the 4 12v rails. This could be the problem. Replace it with a quality 750w unit from Antec, XFX, Seasonic.

How about corsair psu's

The closest tigerdirect is 45 min away and bestbuy is ten seconds and they have corsair and thermaltake but if they're shitty just let me know
