so ive got an issue, that i have discovered recently: i get the impression that changing graphical settings in games have no effect whatsoever on my FPS. i noticed this trend mostly in openworld games, such as the forest, dayz (standalone) arma 2-3, planetside 2 and the such, but its happened also in battlefield 4 and hardline. i start playing and the game autosets my graphics to ultra, but i only run at 30, dropping down to 20 if a lot is going on. i go in settings and drop them all to the bare minimum and i barely gain 5 FPS total, is this normal? my pc has been modified several times, by both me and shops, im wondering if some pieces arent working properly together, or as well as they should?

CPU: AMD FX-6100
MAINBOARD: TA990FXE
RAM: 6GB DDR3
GRAPHICS: AMD RADEON HD6900
