I am about to buy a new sound card. I am interested in an audiophile card for reproducing high quality music (i mostly listen through headphones) and ALSO making music.

I know they are not exactly aimed to home recording but both have a mode dedicated to audio creation so there must be some support in that field. However i don't know which of the two is best in terms of latency with midi keybords, vst instruments or higher quality amps for line in/mic input 'cos i record vocals as well ( I read the specs but they didnt exactly help)

Do you have any idea which of the two should i choose?

Sorry, you mentioned having a midi keyboard so It threw me off. haha. Since Auzen is out of business, Creative is your best choice at least in terms of driver support. M-Audio also make decent sound cards for music.

I'm pretty sure Auzen is out of business. The creative Titanium card would be decent(but I'm pretty sure it doesn't have midi input). Just stay away from the ASUS sound cards.

There are better sounds card out there for recording. It just getting harder to find cards with midi.
