I am experiences hard FPS drops when I play games, is it my graphics? CPU? I have almost the exact same set up as my friend yet he plays it 100x better, any ideas? I Have a AMD FX-8120 Processor, ASRock N68-Vs3 FX Motherboard, 8gigs of DDR3 memory, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 graphics card. any help would be fantastic on how to get my computer up and running optimal.

More info needed, what games, at what resolution, which graphic settings, how many FPS are you getting and how many are you expecting, the GTX 560 used to be a decent card, but don't expect much from it if you're trying to play at max settings, even worse if you're trying it with latest titles.

WOrld of Warcraft, PlanetSide 2, Call of Duty: ghosts, mostly on WoW, I am getting 30-40 and 10-15 in big raids, id say 20 ish on planetside. My monitor is 1900 something by 1080 but somegames wont let me go that high. and i can get about 1600 : 700 or something.

hmm yeah, I wouldn't expect more than 24fps at that res on big raids with that video card, if lowering res/graphics details results in more stable fps it means your GPU isn't powerful enough for your original settings. If problem persists however CPU might be the culprit, while testing verify your CPU is working at it's intended frequency.
