So I am not the most techie person but I am trying to learn. I built my first rig last summer with integrated graphics, AMD A10-5800k to be specific. I am a casual gamer so every game I had played perfectly. But after the recent Steam sale, I bought the Witcher series and realized my mistake. I am looking for a recommended graphics card to add to my rig that would at least give me decent gameplay. I suppose I'd be willing to drop $200 on it but prefer to go less as it is the only game that is giving me framerate issues.

I recommend a R9 270X. Under 200 and will give you great performance on modern games.

Go with the r9 270X, if you can't find one for under $200 then just go with the r9 270.

I would have to agree with the others, but make sure your power supply isnt a little one. i think 500 watts is more than enough but ill need more input on this.

Only pick an r9 270x over an r9 270 is the price difference is tiny, the 270x is just a slightly overclocked version of the 270.
Anyway, if you're a casual gamer, and you'd prefer to spend less than $200 and it's only the one game giving you trouble, then maybe get an r7 265 (or even the r7 260x if you want the budget low as possible), it would be a lot cheaper and still be able to decently run the game. Look up benchmarks of those cards on the witcher and decide which you find acceptable.

I would recommend the r9 265 that Jess linked, as it's pretty good value and also comes with 2 free games.

I'm pretty sure you can crossfire most of the above mentioned cards with your A10. Make sure your PSU (power supply unit) is at least 500watt!

You don't want to crossfire mid range cards, you will be much better off just buying a more powerful card, it will perform better and be cheaper.

Well, for starters, you can't crossfire any card higher than an R7 250X.
Edit: Oops, I thought we were talking about the A10-7850K for a second.
