Z97-WS support for ssd raid?

I just got my new Asus z97-WS with the new Intel i7-4790K and was trying to set up my 3 ssd's in a raid 0 array but it appears that I can only set up raid with hdd's? I upgraded from my MSI M-power board to this work station board. Does anyone know anything about this?
