Hello everyone - new to the site - I am building a system using a Phantom 530 on Monday and need some assistance with the fan setup. My plan is as follows:

Front: Stock NZXT 200mm INTAKE
Bottom: 2 x 120mm (AF120 - quiet) INTAKE
Top: Push pull h100i 4 x 120mm (Push - SP120 performace / Pull AF120 Quiet) EXHAUST -*** I ditched the stock h100i fans***
Rear: Stock NZXT 140mm EXHAUST
Side: ??????

So I have three questions.... 1: Does this sound good / any suggestions. and 2: What should I do with the side panel which has an unfiltered spot for a 140mm fan? 3: Which fans should I connect to the stock fan controller and which to the MOBO? (I have a mixture of PWM and non-PWM fans)

Thanks in advance for the help!!!!

All the fans ordered will fit the stock fan controller?

1.The setup seems good

2. Leave it alone or order one of these as an exhaust fan: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168... to make it noisy.

3. The H100 comes with enough adapter to make the radiator fans motherboard controlled right? The rest of the fans would either be mobo or fan controller depending on your noise perception but I am not sure if the static pressure fans would be impacted by PWN controls

Thanks!!! They should fit with it. My main concern is the fact that there will be no dust/air filter on the side intake 140mm fan - do you see that as being an issue?

Buy some 120mm/140mm fan filter for the side intake fan slots. Installing the fans would be easy with some '#6-32 machine screws' that are 'flat head philips' 1 1/2 or 1 3/4 inches long depending on the the air filter thickness and the usual 25mm thick fans.

25mm thick fans use 1 1/4 inch long flat head philips #6-32 machine screws. Get some #6-32 nuts for side intakes and top exhaust fans since those aren't pre-drilled and also the front intake isn't drilled in some cases as well.
