So I have this Acer Aspire AM1100-E1201A. Ive done everything in setup same as i have with any other comp ive done. This is about my 16th build so Ive done a few. Everything goes perfect upgrading it to windows 7 home prem with 4 gig ram. stock specs are windows vista premium 64 bit with 1 gig of ddr2 ram. after all needed updates i go to install to install a GC: ASUS 560 Ti. I go through normal install. boot up system image comes though card; windows boots, drivers install, system reboots windows loading screen and then BSOD.... so i wait a few minutes yup nothing ok. i shut down (hard off) n go back to MOBO graphics nothing no boot **** all. so hard off again pull the card and one more try, windowsx boots like normal i go to device manage everything is normal at first glance all is good just a quick look at the resources and there it is theres this PS/2 mouse that is showing error code 43(reboot system error code 10, another reboot back to err. 43) ok well first thing im using all usb mouse keyboard so no ps/2 even needed i check the properties for this "ghost" mouse and again error device was unable to start, is missing or not all drivers are installed . i check the resources and its running on irq 12 and windows has greyed out the check box to manage the irq manually. and aparently that is also the irq windows keeps trying to install my graphics card on ive tried about 6 different graphics cards all with same results. um ive also tried disabling the mouse in device manager but it still causes conflict same if i uninstall it after i reboot the system it just apeers back in the device manager resources view but never actually shows in the devices list unless i disable it. anyone got any ideas im stumped

Solution
try pulling any extra sound r video card to rule out an irq or memory error. if windows 7 wont boot try booting from hirem mini xp boot disk to rule out a bios issue with windows 7. as i posted before there are some older system that wont run with newer os without bios updates and some vendor did not post those updates they went end of life on there hardware.
on some of the older dell/hp/acer system look to see if it has intel or nvidia amd chipset. some of the older amd/nvidia chipset dont like newer gpu. also check see if it has the newest bios file on the mb. on some of the older mb they had 512g gpu video ram max. if you put in a larger card the mb would crash. also in the bios try changing the gpu ram size see if the bsod stop. the only other issue is the power supply output not holding.

MOBO is a AMD chipset F690FVM only stock pieces MOBO, OPTICAL DRIVE, PROCESSOR

IDK i just have a feeling its a resource conflict because before the move to windows 7 to the comp was fine other than certain little things and at that time it was running a Zotac GeForce 210 1gb ddr3 ive even tried that one in there as well also to no avail.
