Need help buying new GFX card

Hello Friends

I need a GPU upgrade, my budget is around 250$

Please suggest some good gfx card that fits in my budget, I want latest games like watch dogs etc to run smoothly and on good settings

My PC config is:

i7- 3.40 GHz
ATI Radeon hd 5700
8 GB Ram

Best bang for your buck, your looking at a R9 270X for just under your budget or a R9 280X for just over. If you can afford it I recommend the 280X (280X is comparable to a GTX770, but much cheaper).

An R9 280x runs most games on high settings at 1080p.

Currently i've got 500W

Without new psu the cost is almost same of both the cards

That's not a good quality power supply. Good ones are listed in the first few Tiers in http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-1804779/power-supply-unit-tier-list.html

You should get a better quality power supply eg Seasonic 520, XFX 550 or Antec HCG 520M
