Hello all. I recently got a ROCCAT Kone XTD mouse and while I'm loving it, it's giving me a slight problem despite it being about a month old. Seemingly randomly and somewhat rarely, the cursor will jump to the top-left corner of my (two monitor) desktop. I have no macros set up to move the cursor, if that's even possible. Other than that, the only other option I think it could be is faulty hardware which would be very unfortunate. What do you all think the problem may actually be?

Hi Magnivore
My wife has this mouse and had a similar issue , she told me she downloaded the drivers from roccat itself and this fixed her problem ,
not saying that it will in your case but may be worth a try , also you might look at cleaning your optical eye , make sure there is no dust or fuzzballs in it
i hope this helps, a textured surface for the Kone seems to work much better than a slick surface also

I've had the drivers since day one, so I doubt that's it. I have a steelseries QcK mouse pad, so I'm not sure where that lies on the smooth-textured scale. I'll try cleaning off the eye though and see if that works over a day or so.

as long as the steelseries QcK is not smooth you will be fine , the kone works best on a textured surface
my wife has the roccat alumic double sided mat , i have gamed on it, it is fantastic , i can see why you like this mouse:)
let me know how you get on
