Hi. I'm new to this site, and created an account to ask this question as I cannot find the definite answer anywhere. Basically, I have built my very first computer, and I'm using the Corsair 300R case. I've ordered my graphics card and 2 additional fans from Amazon, and I'm wondering when it comes to installing the fans. Now, I was going install them on the windowed side panel so they blow over the GPU, but I thought, the front panel fans can blow over the graphics card and the GPU itself has 3x Windforce features from Gigabyte, meaning it should stay cool enough, blow over the hard drive trays, plus it'll look better on the front. What my question actually is, does the front panel have all the cables attached to it? Such as the USB header, HDD LED, power LED, and all of that. Now it may seem obvious that it would and I would assume it would, however, I saw LinusTechTips do a review of this case and he took of the front panel, which appeared to have no cables connected to it, which would be easier for me as I have already plugged in all those cables, as well as having to remove the optical drive would be enough. I don't really understand the way things work or the "logic" in how PCs can work with certain things and this is one. Does anyone know? Is this possible? Thank you.

Hi xMRxVENGEANCEx
It will have cables from the front panel , they will be inside the case not behind the front panel , fans on the windowed panel is not necessary , but wont hurt, the more airflow the better , just be sure to have positive air pressure in your case more intake than exhaust , this will mean less dust in your case
i am not sure why you are removing the optical drive though ?

Right so are you saying the cables WILL NOT be on the front removable panel, and that they are on just the metal frame? Or would they actually be connected to the front panel itself? I don't know if this is possible but like I said I'm sure there were no cables attached to the front panel when LinusTechTips removed it? And also I would have to remove the optical drive to take off the front panel, as I've already installed it and screwed it in?
